“You don’t have to love me.” He whispered to the faded image of his wife. “I know I failed us.” His body had quit working ages ago. “When there was no one else…” Slowly, he had grown weaker. “I couldn’t…save us.” His eyes gradually lowered for the last time.
This was such a hard one for me. I can’t seem to write romance easily. Paranormal/horror comes so easily. Which is why I’ve been writing it. I know it’s not the best but its just practice.
